Never Ending Fun

May 2011, a time seems so long for me 5 years ago. When I first entered UTP, I had very serious cultural shock. Everything seemed so different from what I had experienced for the past 17 years. That time I just hoped that my first semester will finish quickly so that I can go back to my beloved home. I still remember vividly the first night I overnight in another city(KL). Although the city looks magnificent and advanced, I was lying on bed, thinking about my home, parents, and family. Nothing beats the loveliness of your home no matter where your home is.

During my foundation year in UTP, looking at seniors packing up and leaving UTP is the worst thing ever. Everywhere except V2 is quiet and without any noise. It makes UTP looks eerie at night during semester. Counting down to time of leaving UTP is a must-do-thing every dinner. Although foundation year is the longest among all my time in UTP, it was still the fun time ever. Eating together, visiting each other room everyday, poking fun of others, and studying together. It is the thing that I miss the most.

Everything changed in my undergraduate life. New coursemate, new room, new environment. For me I know that I have to slowly adapt and adjust from foundation and undergraduate. Time together with batchmates become less and less. Everything is on your own. But when we were getting together it is still fun. Nothing much changed except now we have to do more things at our own. And we feel our first parting when we had to do our internship. ITIS people have to do their internship 1 semester earlier than us, followed by us. Life is totally changed since then.

During my internship, I was assigned to Deleum and I was rotated among 3 departments. I was lucky to be assigned to these 3 companies because it is the time that I learned the most. Although I have to learn things the hard way, it makes me to remember it harder. During this period, by having many self conversations, I realized i did a lot of mistakes in the past and I had changed it all. I realized I am no longer a teenager and I have to become more responsible in what I did and what I am doing in future. I had changed after my internship.

Fast forward to May 2011, a day where only Petroleum Engineering students will finish their study. Other courses students have to stay for 1 more semester due to new structuring of engineering program. We are lucky to be exempted from extension. When I finished my final paper for my final semester, I did not feel as happy as I expected, because I know that it is time to leave my comfort zone. It will be a totally new beginning for me in next few months. Thanks to all people who have an influence in my life. You all are the best. I thank you all for making me grow up and become a better person after 5 years. :)

Why I Run

People around me know that i run a lot and i love running. but they do not know the reasons that i love running. and this post is dedicated to all those runners out there who share the same inspiration with me. :)

It all started in new year eve of 2008. as a tradition for myself, every year before it ends i will review what i did for the past 1 year and what i should do in the following year. realizing that i had gone through my teenager time without any great achievement which i can be proud of, i decided that i should do something different in the following year.

One day in May 2009, while i was browsing the internet, i went to a site which promote kl marathon. that time i knew that this is an event that will give me some achievement in that year. so without any hesitation i registered for half marathon and i asked my friends, Michael and Jia Seng to join together with me. so 3 of us registered this event and we trained for it.

I still remember vividly the feelings of running together with a few thousands of runners together. it is great to have someone running beside u and encourage each other. the feeling of crossing the finishing line is greater than anything especially after u had endured 2 hours plus. the joy of holding ~~"a piece of metal"~~ medal is indescribable. only when u joined and trained for that u will understand the joy and excitement of it. :)

since then, i become addicted to running. i love the feelings of crossing the finishing line and walking around with my medal. then i browsed through and found 1 run after KL marathon, Men's Health Night Run 2009.

that run was the run which i joined together with Michael, Nicholas and Jia Seng. it is a run held at night. the run was perfect because of great companion. :)

After that, i stop joining all the run as i back to UTP and it is hard for me to continue to join any running event in KL. But i continue to join during my internship as i intern in KL and it is easy for me to join any running event. All these run has a story behind it. thanks to all the people who support and encourage me along the journey. :)

hi everyone! it has been so long since i update my blog. currently i am back to my university, utp and it is 4th week now. due to my laziness, i only update now. lol

when i first enter utp i complaint about the shitty place that i had put myself in but i start to appreciate my life in utp now. i m still remember 4 years ago i was complaining the situation in utp but nothing beats great companions. :D

last night i received a surprise from my fren, han sze. he sent me a photo of jasmitt with me together. tis pic means a lot to me as jasmitt is the first indian fren i know. we did assignments, projects, eating in usm cafe, cracking jokes together with all my coursemates. all these will remain in my heart forever and this pic will be memories of jasmitt. :)

Gimme Food on Flights

as a Sarawakian who is currently studying in Peninsular Malaysia, taking flight back n forth from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur is very normal to me. normally in 1 year time i will go back to kuching at least 3 times. means i will be taking flight at least 6 times a year. and the amount does not include the flight i take when i go to travel to other place like singapore and indonesia.

everytime when i am taking flight, i will have my meal first before i reach airport. but when i am in a flight i will feel hungry again. it is because normally i have to reach airport at least 2 hours before to check in. so by the time i am inside the plane. i will feel hungry again. (i eat a lot ^^)

so whenever i am inside the plane, i hope i can have my favourite meal inside the flight. it is the greatest enjoyment when u r enjoying ur favourite food inside the flight. it is damn cool to think about it. 45,000 feet on air, and beautiful stewardess serving u ur favourite food. ^^

for me, i would like to have kolo mee, a very popular kuching food on flights. kolo mee is normally served with garlic, shallots, minced beef or pork, white vinegar, pork oil (optional) and 'char siew'. for every kuching people, one of their favourite food is kolo mee. and we have kolo mee as our breakfast, tea break, lunch, dinner or supper. it all depends on the person and mood. it is available 24/7/365 in kuching.

looking at the picture make me hungry already. and if it is served on flight, i am sure that it will be greatest enjoyment for all passengers. ^^

A nightmare on Elm Street Review

last tuesday, michael invited me to watch a premier movie in GSC Mid Valley. i didnt know what movie we were watching until we reached the ticket collection booth. lol. the movie that we watched is a nightmare on Elm Street. when we reached GSC, there is long queue to collect the ticket. but finally we managed to get tickets after long queue.

i got the chance to watch the screening of the 'A nightmare on Elm Street', thanks to Xiangcool :). I love ghost movie and enjoy spooky feeling, watched a few ghost movies in the cinema and i do enjoy them.

i thought i can overcome the frighten and scary scenes in the movie. I had underestimated the movie. The movie has the same storyline with Wes Craven's original 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street introduced Freddy Krueger, a hideously burned, bloodthirsty spitball of menace who murdered his victims when they succumbed to sleep. A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 centres on a gang of teenagers from the small American town of SpringWood, Ohio, who then discover they are all experiencing nightmares about a burned man, wearing a red and green sweater with a clawed gloves in his hands.They haunted by the same nightmare and slashed to death by Freddy.When they are murdered by the man in their dream, they also die in their real life. In order to prevent being murdered by the horrible man, they need to stay awake in order to stay alive. How poor the kids are :(.

throughout the whole movie, i closed my eyes with the blogger stickers a few times. This movie is real frighten i would say. For those who are going for the movie,be prepare ,the movie is real frightening and scary! No kidding!

Road Trip with My Broadband

As everyone who knows me, i love traveling to the max! i will always find opportunities to travel to the place i never travel before. and i like to explore the place around and find the nice food, nice scenary in that place.

when i travel without any guides from local or tour guide, it is hard to find those places around. for example, some of the nice food only known to local and it is hard to find too when it is hiding in some corner that no one will notice it unless u know the place well. this time internet has come to its uses.

once i online, i can find a lot of information on the internet which includes the introduction of the place, where to stay, where to eat and what to do. the internet gives u great advantages when u want to travel and discover the place at ur own pace.

but there is one issue about the internet. u will need to access to any connection before you can access to the internet and start surfing for information that is useful while u are on the road. u have to find cyber cafe around and it becomes an issues too when u r not familiar with the place. although some mobile service providers come out with data plan which u can utilize it to online, it is still expensive compared to normal broadband services.

so there is one solution which is cheap and easy compared to other solution. the solution to all these problems is P1 W1max. P1 W1 max connection is so easy compared to other type of broadband. the modem is just like the size of USB drive. so basically u can bring it anywhere and u can access to internet anytime anywhere.

next time when i am traveling, i will put P1 W1max as one of the must-bring item so that i can surf the internet anytime anywhere. it will provide a lot of comfort for me as i can know the best place to eat, see, and stay. these will help me to become a smarter traveler. :)

My Version of Grooming Tips

When i see the word 'grooming' for week 8 instant cash blogging, the first thing that run in my mind is "i should google it in internet". When i google the word 'grooming', the result surprised me!

the definition of the word 'grooming' is an hygienic activity performed by animals. it includes cleaning and maintaining part of the body. and there is a lot of pictures of animals like cat, dog and horse being groomed as well. even wild animals occasionally grooms themselves as well. so it is very normal for human to groom themselves too since we are animal too. lol

for me, i groom myself everyday. at the morning when i first open my eyes, i brush my teeth n wash my face. sometimes i do shave as well to maintain the clean look. if i do not shave, i think i will look probably like tarzan now. lol.

after that, i will go and have bath to make myself feel fresh and energetic. after i bath, i will choose clean clothes to wear. (this is an important to people, DO NOT wear your sweaty clothes again!) i will comb and style my hair as well. after that i will apply adidas action 3 deodorant and i am free to go out and seize the day!

No Strings Attached

nowadays, when i walk on the street, i always realize there is something strange happening around me. and it is becoming a trend too. when i walk, people around me are using handphone which is "string-less", people use "string-less" remote control to change channel, and instead of using key to open door, people use their "string-less" key, thumb and iris, to access to a room.

by letting everything become string-less, our world will become easier and better. imagine that u no need to bring anything out when u go out, u can use your thumb to pay for your groceries and bills. it is a very nice thing i will say!

but now u have the chance to make full use of wireless connection. now u can use P1 wimax to connect to internet. it is very convenient compared to conventional way of connecting to internet. u can connect it anytime anywhere. for example, u can surf net while u are surfing in pulau redang. surf net before u do some surfing. lol

i use celcom broadband before. that is why i know the advantages of wireless connection. once i online in my friends car and get to know the nearest location for nice food. i heard someone play dota too while driving in the car using wireless connection. dunno whether it is true o not. lol

i heard p1wimax connection is among the best. so i m thinking of subscribing to p1wimax soon. anyone with me?

My Favourite Sport

Sport is such an amazing way to communicate with each other. People use sport to know new people, to solve conflict and to enhance bonding of each other. Because of all these reasons, sport is amazing and make this world more beautiful.

For me, i play a few sports at a same time. I play football, badminton, etc. But there is one sport that i want to improve and achieve more. That is long distance running or known as jogging.

Some of you will ask, why jogging? Jogging is so boring, jogging has no interaction with others, blah blah blah ... But i want to tell you all that most of you has misconception about all these.

First thing about jogging. It is physically and mentally challenging as well. Believe me. Most of the people will give up after they run for a few weeks. When you are devoted to train in any marathon, you have to give up a lot of things. First, you have to wake up early to train while others are still sleeping nicely on their bed. Besides, when your friends go to watch movies and enjoy themselves and DOTA , you have to say no as well. When you train there is definitely no night life, no cigarette, no alcoholic drinks for you. When you can do all these, Congratulations! you have strong determination and you can accomplish anything in life because strong determination that you have.

And who say jogging is boring? You can always find a companion to jog with you. Besides, you can listen to your favourite song too while you are jogging. If you like to jog alone and dowan to listen to any music, you can use this opportunity to relax and do some thinking at your own. for me, i will do some thinking process while i am jogging.

Jogging is one of the cheapest sport too. You only need a pair of sport shoes and you can start jogging. As long as you and others are safe then it is ok to jog :). U can jog at a park, around your neighbourhood, or on the treadmill.

In order to keep yourself smell good and feel fresh all the time during sport time, all you need is to get a whole package of Adidas Action 3.

My Date Night

Most Memorable Date

my most memorable date is when i first went out with my gf. that time is the first time i went out and spent our time together. that day is 24 september 2009.

that morning we have dim sum as our breakfast together with my friends. after that, we went to queensbay to have movie and nice nice lunch and dinner. when we reach queensbay, we bought our movie ticket 1st before the ticket finish. the movie that we watch on that day is '吓到笑' , a movie by jack neo.

after movie we went to shop around. that time only she realize i love reading. so she has to accompany me in borders for half an hours. lol.

after that we went to gurney to have our dinner that day. we have cheese baked rice in kim gary. the rice is so tasty but i have to finish most of the food myself as jping do not eat much. at the end i have to sit down because i cant move anymore. lol

this date is the most memorable for me because it is the first time i went out with her and enjoy our time together. :)

No Sweat

when we see the word or imagine the word 'hot' like above, what will you guys react? i think for most of u out there your body will sweat when u see the word 'hot'. (if you are not sweating now then i think u are abnormal because i will sweat when i see this word even i am in air conditioned room now. lol)

so i am safe from sweating a lot because i am staying in air conditioned room. but how if i go outside? as all of u know, now the weather is crazyyyyyyy! if i walk outside for 2 minutes then i will starting sweating. my sweat will sweat like heavy rain fall from sky. if u don believe u can try to walk outside now. lol

but there is a way to save u from sweating and become smelly like ikan masin. somemore u have to wash so many clothes if u change ur clothes often. not good for a lazy person. lol. let me present to u the savior of hot weather:

My Favourite Surfing Spot

For this week instant cash blogging for project alpha, the title is "My Favourite Surfing Spot". When i look at this topic, there are alot of thoughts run in my mind. But i think the most related one is the website that i visit the most when i online. So, i think my favourite surfing spot is facebook.

Facebook is one of the social networking website that attracts millions and millions of people. I had heard of the name 'facebook' back in 2007. During that time i own one account for friendster too. But soon when i lost interest in friendster due to limitation of account of a person (limit of friend is 1000 only, if i am not mistaken) and complexity of usage. I abandoned my friendster account totally after a while. After a few months, i delete my friendster account.

After i delete my account, i think that i do not need a social network account like friendster because i think that all of social network site is the same. But one day, as i had nothing to do in cyber cafe, i created an account for facebook. Since then, i can say i am much addicted to facebook.

Every morning after i open my eyes, the first thing i do is i go to my laptop, on it and login to my facebook account. after that, i spend my time checking all the notifications and latest updates from friends.

Besides, i spend my time on facebook games too. Games that i play the most on facebook is mafia wars. My friend introduced this game to me one day when i was in cyber cafe. Again, i addicted to mafia wars soon and i play continuously from last year till now. I start from new york, then continue to cuba and moscow, now i play until bangkok stage.

I Just Love Good Smelling People

When i was small, i always saw my dad apply something on his armpit after he bath. that time i was small and i do not know the existence of deodorant, which can make u smell good and fresh all the day. that time i was curious and like look at the deodorant that my dad was using. i thought it was some kind of magic as my dad just jokingly told me that it is a magic stick that make u smell good. lol

fast forward to the time i just entered UTP, around 4 years ago. i am still remember the first time i am using deodorant. that time i bought the deodorant from a direct selling company as my friend introduced the deodorant to me. when i first hold the deodorant, it was like a magic for me. i apply it everyday after i bath and definitely, i smell good and fresh for all day long (this sentence is to emphasize the magic of deodorant only. i always smell good all the time. :P ).

after i finish the deodorant bought from my friend, i switch to using other brand of deodorant. although all these deodorants smell great, i am still looking for the perfect one for me. and then comes adidas deodorant, which is just appear in market around 2 years ago. after i tried adidas deodorant, i fall in love with its smell straightaway.

besides, adidas deodorant also has cool design. i prefer the deodorant spray, which is easy to bring anywhere i go. i bring the deodorant along when i am having sport activities, which i can apply quickly after i bath. i even brought it when i am traveling. but there is one time i have to throw it away. it was the time i went to yogyakarta. i forgot to put in the baggage and i brought it in my hand carry bag. when i at custom inspection, i have to throw that away because my deodorant is more than 100ml. if not i will become some sort of terrorist which will use a deodorant to bomb the plane. lol. so i have to throw it away and i just started using it few days ago only. T.T

Tiger Run

sorry for disappearing for more than 1 month. although february is the shortest month in a year, in this month i had lots of events. lets start with my 1st event of the month, TIGER RUN! woohoo~

i was invited to Tiger Run by Nuffnang. u can refer to my entry post here. but both tiger run n putrajaya marathon at the same day. luckily tiger run started at 4pm while putrajaya marathon started at 8pm. so i can join both events.

the run was bad for me. first i don have any twitter account. and i have to create one on the spot. and the internet is not working well. :( i stay there creating my twitter account for 15 minutes.

the subsequent task were easy, except the one that we need to finish buffalo wing. i thought buffalo wing is nice to eat. so i just open my mouth big big without second thought. mana tau buffalo wing burned like hell. my lips turned red, my hand turned red, n my face turn red too! n those part tat i touch burned like fire. and i suffer throughout the whole marathon and have diarrhea whole night.

My Dream in the Year of the Tiger

dream, is something that is absurd to other people but it is meaningful to that person. dream can be a great motivation tool to the person. dream can help a person to reach higher state than before. dream can even make a person STRONGER than ever.

i have dream too. in fact, i am so greedy that i have a lot of dreams at one time. lol. but i think that there is one dream that is never change and it remains unchanged in my heart for a very long time. i always want to achieve that dream, the dream of my life.

the dream of my life is that i want to backpack to whole south east asia, particularly mainland of south east asia. i think all of you wondering why i want to choose to travel to south east asia rather than other places like china and europe. but there are few reasons that i think south east asia is more attractive than other part of the world.

as a south east asian and malaysian, i know that south east asia always is that mystery and it attracts a lot of attention outside world. one of the reasons is that south east asia have a very strategic geographic, and it is a place where merchants from east and west trade their products here since civilization. in fact, they brought along their culture with them as well. these different cultures blend together and create a culture that is unique. so in south east asia, there are a wide variety of culture here as each country has different history, culture and tradition, and each one is different from others. (now i know that history is useful and finally i can apply it ^^)

besides, i am inspired by the world most famous travel guide book founder, tony wheeler and maureen wheeler of lonely planet. it is all begun with the book "once while travelling: the lonely planet story". the book is about how they travel from UK to australia and their life changes after that vacation. it always inspire me to backpack in future as backpacking is one of the way to broaden our mind. backpacking is also my favourite travelling type as you have your own leisure to explore the place. while you are exploring at your own leisure, you can discover and understand more about the local tradition and culture.

but, there is something holding me back from doing all these. as i am still a student, i do not have any income yet. so i cannot save any money and use it for travelling. so my dream of backpacking over south east asia can be achieved after my studies.

now there is a chance for me to have my dream come true.tiger beer and nuffnang is currently organizing tiger run for all the people out there to have their dream come true. if i am chosen for tiger run, i guess i will be very lucky because i am one step nearer to my dream!

last monday, when i was facebook-ing (OoOops!) working in my office , i received an email from nuffnang. the email is regarding invitation to Samsung CORBY Carnival. each of us will be assigned to each team and we will team up with other blogger in a team. the winner will get 1 brand new CORBY back! wooohoooooooooo ~ imagine i will be holding the phone will make me smile everyday. ^^

so i sent my confirmation back to nuffnang and waiting for the reply happily because this one will be my first nuffnang event. :) imagine i will win a brand new CORBY back this weekend. then i become coolest person because i have CORBY. muahahahahaa :D !

so finally i received the confirmation email from nuffnang! so i will be joining the event! woohoo! but few minutes later, nuffnang sent me another email and they REVOKE my invitation! i was damn 'kam cheong' that time. imagine CORBY flying away from me. T_T i wanted to contact them but tat time is lunch time. and food is more important than anything else, so i decided to go have my lunch first.

after my lunch, nuffnang sent me an email stated that the revoke of application is system error. phew. so, i am invited! so i am going to SUNWAY this sat. woohoo!

as my gf is invited for the event, she went all the way down from penang on friday. this is her first nuffnang event too. so ah kit, kelvin, michael, my gf and i will be joining the event ^^.

as 3 of them stay in genting klang and my gf and i will be staying in pj, so we met at kelana jaya at 830. that morning when i was waiting for lrt (my gf left me at lrt station T_T), surprisingly i met 3 of them in lrt. then after that we went to sunway together.

when we reached there, we registered at the counter at sunway lagoon. surprisingly(0.0)5 of us were in the same group !!! we were in yellow group. we are Yellow Man. i will follow u ~ means either all of us win OR we don get anything. we met our group members too while we were waiting.

we entered extreme park as all the event will be around extreme park. when we reached surf deck, there was breakfast waiting for us. when i was eating my breakfast, suprisingly i met my friend, asyraf there. then we chit chat a bit and catch up with our recent activities.

then Liang the mc started the event. first someone highly ranked from samsung (i think should be the chairman, forgot the post) give some speech about the event. after the speech, the first event started!

the winning team will get 50 points. the second place will get 20 points and the third place will get 10 points. last place will get nothing at all.

the first event is Trample On Balloon. 10 person from each team joined the competition. first our opponent is pink group. in first match we lost to pink group because when i was happily trying to step balloon, other people whose balloon has exploded came and step my balloon. =.=" so everyone was stepping other group balloon no matter their balloon exploded or not. in the end all people rush to the only person whose balloon haven exploded. imagine u are that person at that time. i believe u will like meatball when it finish. lol

although we lost in first match, we don lost our spirit. we rearrange our strategy as there is no losing, only wrong strategy. after that our opponent is white team. in this one we can use our hand. muahahahhahaha. so when it started i just grabbed the balloons and pong! And Hurray ~ the balloons exploded! so in this match we won with most of our team member balloon don explode. so we got 10 points in this event.

the second event is Get-wet-u aka tug-of-war in the pool. this event is considered one of the worst event for our team. imagine mike tyson vs manny pacquiao. flyweight vs heavyweight. bang mana boleh menang. as predicted, our team lost both matches. our team totally cannot fight with heavyweight. all fell down in the water. kesian them. so this event-0 point. T_T

 imagine these 2 guys fight in a match. even mike tyson picture is larger than manny pacquiao. lol 

in these 2 event we only managed to get 10 points while orange team managed to get 100 points. it is 90 points difference. so at that time i thought it is time to bid goodbye to CORBY. T_T but miracle happen next.

the third event is wall climbing. first we are required to reach the top then grab a balloon down. as each team has different route and different route has different difficulty, so apparently only white team managed to get few balloons down. after that they change the rule. then it is time for our team to shine. lol. our team MVP, michael aka chun managed to climb a few times up there and we won this event. so this event we managed to get 50 points.

last event is paintball. this one is the most exciting competition among all. so in this event each team will have 2 sub team to compete in the event. i am in team 1 together with kelvin, ah kit, MVP michael chun and our leader wai hoe kellaw. 

the rule of the match is simple. which team managed to grab the flag back to their base win the match. if when u are hit, u must go back to ur base and touch the wall. only then u can continue playing. if u are hit while u are grabbing the flag, u must put down the flag at the place and go back to base.

for us paintball is the only event that decide whether we go home with a brand new CORBY or nothing at all because winner of paintball get 100 points! even second place get 50 points as well. so it will decide whether we are comeback king or not.

in first match our opponent is white team. in this match chun and i will be runner. while ah kit, kelvin and wai hoe will be sniper. runner job is to grab the flag while 3 of them try to hit the opponent and slow their pace as once u are hit, u must go back to the base.

in this match i was damn unlucky. unfortunately i get the wrong gun. the gun cannot FUNCTION at all! and i didnt realize it until the match started. so when i was trying to shoot the opponent, the pellets wont come out. i was scolding 'wtf wtf' during the match but i guess no one heard me. lol. so i raised up my hand and try to complain to marshal (referee) but my hand become target pulak. so bang bang bang! i was hit by opponent team as i was trying to complain. lol. they all focus shooting on me. but it is a good thing bacause that time chun grabbed the flag back to our base. so we won! woohoo!!!! we proceed to next round!

while we were celebrating our victories, unfortunately our team 2 lost. so our team is the only hope for samsung corby.

in the second match our team opponent is orange team. we knew that no matter what we must win this match so that we have chance to go back with CORBY. cannot let orange team win. lol. so we entered with high spirit. as usual, chun and i will be runner and 3 of them will be sniper-shoot all opponent. lol. i tried to grab the flag back but suddenly i was hit. so i put the flag down. and chun grab the flag back and we won! woohoo~ we came out with our head held high. but in this match everyone got hit. and chun hurt his shoulder.

so we proceeded to final. in this round our opponent is orange team (why there are so many orange people?). in this match is very important for both our team. winner of this match can get 100 points, double the points of previously collected. so means that who win this match can go back with brand new CORBY!

in this match the marshal emphasized on the rule. he mentioned that we cannot take our face mask off. the most important thing is we must be HONEST. if u are hit then u must put down the flag and go back to the base before you play again. whoever break the rule will be DISQUALIFIED. (notice the caps? it means that it is very important)

when the match started, everyone was busying firing the pellet to the opponent in the hope that pellet will hit the opponent. as usual, chun and i were trying to grab the flag. first i reached the flag pole and i grabbed it. but i was hit. and i put the flag down and go back to my base. after that opponent team grabbed their flag. although he/she was hit by us continuously he/she still ran back to the base. it is damn unfair! we put our flag down when we were hit but they ran back although they were hit! 

we complained to the marshal about this and they told us that they will decide it. so we went back to surf deck and have our lunch. and we were praying for good news because apparently they are disqualified. and we need to rest because all the injuries on our body.

but the news is disappointing us. orange team still won the match and they go back with CORBY. as a consolation we went back with RM100 each. still not that bad. but when compare CORBY with RM100 definitely CORBY is better.

yesterday i got the news from my friend that last sem result will be out tommorrow. suddenly the past memories of past sem come to my mind. it is because i had gone through what people will do to improve their results. now i just wanna share my point of view about result.

what is result? for me result is an indicator that will determine your future. whether you own big car and big house all depends on the result. so people will try hard to get a very good result so that their future is guarantee.for them,

GOOD RESULT=GOOD FUTURE

over past few years, i have seen alot of people which is not the focus of the class because their bad result succeed in life. so there is no guarantee that good result will get a good job, good life in future. it all depends on your soft skill.

but there are still some people that are willing to do anything in order to get good result. they are willing to backstab their friend, leave his/her group member without notify them to join other group because his/her group member sucks (this is what i think la), and other things that u will not imagine in order to get good result. for me is it really worth it? definitely u will get good result but when u see around, u realize ur friend around u will become lesser and lesser.

for me, i think that not one person can get A only. everyone can get A together. so u no nid to do anything behind ur friend in order to get good result. u can help ur friend and study together and u get A together with ur friend. when u help them, u can learn faster than when u study alone. it is because to give is better to receive. u will realize the magic when u share ur things with others.

studying is like a race, a marathon. everyone can reach the finish point together. so during the journey, u can help each other to cross the finish line. it is what others say 'no one left behind'.

for the past few sem, my friend and i had formed a study group together. everytime before any test/assignment/final exam, we will study together. we will have discussion on the subject. so, we never miss out any single details on the subject. after we study, then we will go and have a drink. we will chat, talk cock, make fun of each other. it is a very great time together. in the end, we get good result together. kudos to adonis, valsan, prashanth and charles. =)

Health:
1. Drink plenty of water.

Food Hunt @Kim Lian Kee

Kim Lian Kee is located at cross junction of Petaling Street, somewhere near the famous longan drink (Air Mata Kucing) stall. This is the most 'luxury' restaurant that I ever been to for Hokkien Mee. As Hokkien Mee is normally served in some traditional kopitiam and stalls along the road side.

Besides the classy round table, another option go to -
high chairs aside which can 'bird-view' the crowd of Petaling Street.

The noodles were well-cooked in special dark soy sauce.
Fried with crispy pork lards, pork fat crisps, sotong, cabbage and prawns...
Oily, steaming hot greasy noodles tastes fabulous.
Highly recommend.

Happy new year everyone! although it is a bit late to greet everyone happy new year, but it is better than never right. lol.

there is a few things that i want to achieve in this year. so if you guys not seeing me doing all these things remind me in whatever situation so that i can achieve my target this year.

1. pick up reading again. i used to read a lot. but when i enter tertiary education, i tend to put book aside due to busyness. currently i am having my internship now. so i think this is the best time to pick up reading again as i read to learn (gain knowledge), not read to study (pass exam).

2. learn how to cook during my internship. the place i m staying now has a very nice kitchen complete with utensils. so i think it is time for me to learn how to cook as there is no one to cook for me now. T.T any recipe to recommend with anyone?

3. learn how to control my temper. i tend to angry easily when things didn't went smoothly as i thought. so i tend to quarrel with people surrouding me. so this year i know understand what i feel and try to control it.

4. taking care of my health. i realize health is very important to everyone as time passed by. once u lost ur health it is nearly impossible for u to get back to your initial health condition. one of the reasons that people tend to fall sick nowadays is that people exercise less. so this year i should involve more in exercise and not giving any excuse to myself.

5. control my spending. i never succeed in any financial planning. when i have money i tend to enjoy myself and spend everything that i have. so this year i must start to save my money. when u save ur money earlier u tend to have more money in future like what i studied in engineering economics=compound interest. lol

if i can achieve these 5 things at the end of the year. i will be as happy as a kid get a lollipop. lol. anyone please push me to achieve my target if you do not see me doing all these.

confuse now? let me retell the story from beginning...

last Monday night, i went to training for my upcoming marathon that will be on coming february. I do not want to be a dead body during the marathon. lol. so when i went back to my room, i was too tired and i fall asleep straight. when you are tired, you tend to relax your whole body. So the funny things happen next.

because we are sleeping on double bed, we use bolster as borders between us so that we will not hug each other when we are sleeping. lol. but that night when we were sleeping, don know y i use my hand to touch his face. then he shout "WTF" n i woke up straight. when i woke up i see my hand on his pillow and his expression. i think u guys can imagine that situation. Jin Ming eyes are so big until i can see his eyes shine although we off the light d. lol.

because both of us have to work the folowing morning and it is kinda late (about 1am), we dozed off straight after that. but according to jin ming, that night i touch him a few times and knee him like i m hugging a bolster.

that's the story of one night in A508.

Lesson of the day: Please remember to buy a bolster if you are sleeping beside a guy. so that u will not hug him when you are sleeping.

P/S: Jin Ming and I are not gay. I believe that if any gay try to find him he wil crush your bones like breaking chopsticks. don play play.

my life is full of colorful event. i never say 'NO' to any event from anyone around me. the word 'NO' is never exist in my dictionary. lol

for me, pink color is a very special color for me. it is because normally people will think tat pink color is for girls only. but i would like to revolutionize the perception of public. so i wil wear pink color shirt when i m going out. it will boost my confidence as i m different from others. n it is one of my favourite color too!!
